Broom Clean vs. Final Clean After Construction
Most construction contracts only require the site to be left broom clean: debris out and floors swept. That standard is usually met. It doesn’t cover dust on surfaces, adhesive, labels, grout haze or anything inside a cabinet.

Each phase is quoted at the site visit, so you know the total before work starts.
When to Book the Final Clean
Wait until every trade has finished and left the site. One carpenter back for half a day can undo a full clean.
Change the HVAC filters and run the system for a day first. Renovation dust sits in the ductwork and settles on finished surfaces the first time the air handler runs.
If your handover date doesn’t allow for that, tell us and we’ll work to the date you have.
Condos, High-Rises and Contractor Work
For condo and high-rise renovations, give us the building name at the quote stage. The certificate of insurance the association asks for is supplied before scheduling, the service elevator is booked for the window the building allows, and work stays inside its vendor hours.

How much does post construction cleaning cost?
Each project is quoted flat after a site visit, based on square footage, the trades involved, surfaces and building access. Two renovations of the same size can leave very different amounts of dust and residue.
Is a deep clean enough after a renovation?
No. A deep clean doesn’t include adhesive and label removal, grout haze, or dust inside vents, returns and cabinets. Book one after a renovation and you’ll likely need a second clean a week later.
My contractor cleans up. Why would I need this?
Contractors usually clean to broom clean standard: debris out and floors swept. That leaves surface dust, adhesive, labels, grout haze and cabinet interiors.
Can you clean a new build in phases?
Yes. A rough clean after drywall and paint, a final clean once the trades leave, and a touch-up before the walkthrough or closing, each quoted at the site visit.
Can contractors book you for several projects?

What about terrazzo, natural stone and original wood?
Tell us at the site visit. Terrazzo and stone get neutral pH product, wood gets minimal moisture. Refinishing and restoration are separate trades.
